I've copied the 0.11 "bootimage" onto a 1.44M diskette and attempted to boot off it. It gets as far as "Loading system..." and then says HD-controller reset failed: 80 Kernel panic: HD controller not ready I also see a small "EGAc" in the upper right corner of the screen. I've been running protected mode minix on this machine (a 20MHz 386 Everex Tempo LX laptop, VGA display, IDE controller) using the vanilla at_wini.c driver with no problems. I recall being able to boot the old 0.10 version of linux with no problems, although I just played on the diskette and never tried to mount a HD filesystem. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
