Hi Chris,

I've done this using vss2svn:
http://www.pumacode.org/projects/vss2svn/wiki/RunningTheMigration
Then imported the svn using git-svn.

It works great, at least for my simple use case.
Of course, the actually VSS history is pretty useless since no one at
my company knows how to use version control (i.e., no comments) but at
least it's there if I need it. :)
I have no idea if this handles branching and such.
