Hi, i have problem with ati mobility radeon 9600 graphic card. With vesa
driver works OK, but with ati or radeon driver, 3d acceletarion does not work
(with Xorg 6.9 worked). I am now using Xorg xorg-server-1.4_3,1.

...I don't have any problems with an ATi Radeon 9250 using xf86-video-ati-6.7.196 and xorg-server-1.4_3,1. This setup worked fine until X.org 7.3 was imported, it was broken until several weeks ago. I don't remember what fixed it though... This is on 7.0-PRERELEASE (i386).
