WITNESS won't work on ZFS' lock by default. Please add:

CFLAGS+=3D-DDEBUG

to sys/modules/zfs/Makefile and recompile zfs kernel module. DEBUG
define tells ZFS not to add NOWITNESS flag at lock initialization time.
