Well the last few days have involved all sorts of fun configuring iptables and traffic shapping for my dsl link. Still it all works now. You can see the various bits of the script I added for traffic here

Well I finally got my leaving date for VR from my company. Given the current job market I'm glad I've got another 6 months pay before I have to find a new job. Of course people are welcome to offer me stuff in the meantime.

The Speedtouch driver RPM's seem to be doing ok although I have been distracted writing my customisable CV over the last few days. I think I'll drop the ADA though, it does seem to be far too picky about package definitions for me to develop a good working relationship with the language :-)

Well with the prospect of so much free time my current list of things to do include:

• Finish the RPM packaging of the Speedtouch ADSL Drivers
• Learn some ADA writting a robot for RealTimeBattle
• Rebuild my router so I can experiment with iptables
• Get my head around Glade so I can polish my patch for Gtk-Gnutella
